Technical Service Bulletin · TSB 26-2448

This is a Technical Service Bulletin, not a recall. A TSB tells dealers how to diagnose and repair a specific symptom when a truck comes in with it. It doesn't mean every truck listed has the problem, and it doesn't by itself make the repair free -- coverage depends on your warranty and the dealer's diagnosis.

Published: Oct 27, 2026
Applies to: F-150 (2021–2026 model years)

Summary (official text)

This bulletin supersedes 25-2236. Reason for update: To consolidate prior articles and revise the Service Procedure to add an AAD blade limit strap. Some of the vehicles listed in the model statement above may exhibit at least one of the following conditions: •"Active Air Dam System Fault See Manual" warning message displayed in the instrument panel cluster (IPC) •AAD hanging/not retracting •Diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) C0604 and/or C0630 stored in the powertrain control module (PCM) •Stuck/inoperative AAD blade •Deformed AAD blade and/or static lower valance that inhibits normal up/down function of the AAD blade This may be due to the software in the PCM, damaged fasteners and/or a deformed AAD blade.

Supersedes: TSB 25-2236
